GYM BOSSPrivacy policy
This policy explains how Maximum Sport p/l (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through gymsoftware.io (the Gym Boss website). We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address and, if you choose, your gym name and gym type.
- Beta requests: your name, email, gym name and type and, if you choose, location, approximate member numbers, phone and the tools you use today — so we can choose beta gyms and contact you.
- Contact and feature suggestions: your name (contact form), email address and the message or suggestion you send.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To let you know when Gym Boss early access opens and send occasional product updates.
- To reply to your enquiry or follow up on your suggestion.
- To understand what gym owners need so we can build a better product.
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it with third parties except service providers who help us run the website or send email on our behalf, or where required by law.
Marketing emails
You can unsubscribe from waitlist and update emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@gymsoftware.io.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please email us first and we’ll do our best to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We may update this policy as Gym Boss develops — for example, when the product launches. The latest version will always be on this page.
